Laura Peltak

                Laura Peltak is a New York based make-up artist. From an early age Laura knew she was a very creative and hands on person. It was through her creativity and passion for design that she sought out a career in hair. She got her cosmetology license in 2015. After working in a salon she knew she was highly intrigued by the industry and wanted more. With her fascination in makeup and the beauty industry she moved to New York City to pursue her career as a make-up artist by attending Make-up Designory (MUD) in the multi-media program.

            Laura had an intense level of training during her four months (610 hours) at Make-up Designory which has led her to work with New York based photographers and models from some of the top agencies in the city. She has designed both makeup and hair for a series of beauty and fashion photoshoots, commercial shoots and on sets for numerous films. Her dedication to her education is of paramount importance. She is not only hard working and easy to work with but she is also a team player. If Laura ever runs into any problems she is able to troubleshoot and continue her work smoothly.

            Lauras true passion is creating makeup on set for film and television. She looks forward to seeing how she evolves as both a person and artist throughout her career. She will continue her education by attending classes and will seek out all opportunities that she can. Laura hopes that through her hard work and creativity her designs will stand out and inspire others.
